Based at our beautiful yoga space in The Crescent, Ripon, Jojoba Yoga offers a unique yoga experience. Workshops are small & informal, there is individual attention and opportunity to progress your practice in a dedicated yoga space. We like to enjoy ourselves, get fit, chill out & have a good time doing it! We specialise in Chakra Yoga based on traditional Hatha Yoga but with a focus on the 7 main energy centres of the body (the Chakras) to release vital energy and calm the mind, improving health, fitness and wellbeing.
Chakra Yoga combines traditional & modern poses so you will be holding poses, working with the breath, improving balance & building muscle, core muscle & strength. We also include energising flow sequences (not too many down dogs though!), calming breathwork & Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation) & meditation techniques for mental relaxation, improving clarity and focus.
The sessions will get you fit & flexible whilst healing the body and calming the mind, encouraging you to challenge yourself in a safe & effective way in a comfortable, warm studio with mats, blankets & lavender eye pillows provided so you can really relax (snoring may happen!!).

Chakra Yoga (beginners +)
The Chakra Yoga course runs continually throughout the year & can be joined at any time. The course offers an introduction to Yoga via the Chakras, the 7 energetic centres of the body. These Yoga sessions focus on a different part of the body each week and introduce yoga poses & practices to release tension and build strength and flexibility in each area. Great for beginners and improvers alike. The courses are fun and informal, working with traditional & modern poses (asanas) and incorporating mindfulness and relaxation techniques. Courses follow a set format but different poses are introduced each session so that courses are varied and suitable for all ages & abilities. Expect a strong focus on breath, posture and relaxation to ensure you leave each session walking a bit taller & with a deeper sense of peace, inner calm & connection. Courses are open to all levels.
